How can I see when the pool is open and what is already scheduled?
The online calendar shows pool operating hours, scheduled special events, swim team events, and party reservations. You can view all calendar events at the same time or only specific types of events by selecting one or more Categories and Tags.
See the calendar at: http://marcpool.org/calendar/
How do I schedule a party?
____1. Check date availability with our party coordinator. The information needed by the Party Coordinator can be found in the Party Application form. Send an email with the information on the form to: MedfieldAreaRecreationClub+PartyCoordinator@gmail.com
Note: The request will require board approval if your party is a) during normal pool hours and you are expecting more than 20 guests, or b) outside of normal operating hours.
____2. Await confirmation that the party has been approved.
____3. Print off the Party Application and submit a hard copy with a check payable to Medfield Area Recreation Club (or M.A.R.C.), to staff at the hut. Payment to MARC is for rental of the facility and for use by your guests.
____4. Fill out the Pool Professionals Pool Party Request form and submit with (online) payment to Pool Pros. Payment to Pool Pros is for the lifeguards that will be working your party. The form can be found online at: http://poolprofessionals.com/safety-training/pool-parties/
____5. Once checks and forms are received, your party date will be reserved on the pool manager’s calendar and added to the online calendar. You will receive an email to confirm payment and party reservation.
In the case of multiple requests for the same date and time, the first paid reservation will have access to the shelter.
If you need to change the date or time you must communicate back with MARC and Pool Pros, as we may not have enough guards or desired space to accommodate the party.
Please email any questions you might have to: MedfieldAreaRecreationClub+PartyCoordinator@gmail.com
Payment to MARC is for rental of the facility and for use by your guests.
Payment to Pool Pros is for the (additional) lifeguards that will be working your party.
